Case Study: 100 Leads in 30 Days on a Meagre Ad Budget

Client Background:

A bridal and event makeup studio needed conversations with people who already had a wedding date and a venue. Diaries fill from those conversations, not from general traffic. The studio handed over a clean slate: no usable Meta Business Manager, no working pixel, no catalogues, and a Google Business Profile that was not doing the trust work it should. Paid social would have been inefficient without those foundations in place, so they were built first.

Challenge:

The commercial problem was straightforward. The studio needed bookable leads at a cost that still left margin on a bridal booking. A R100 daily budget leaves no room for scattershot testing or boosted posts. Early form fills were roughly 50/50 usable. Many lacked a date, a venue, or clear intent. Cheap leads are easy to generate. Bookable ones require tighter controls and a foundation the algorithm can actually learn from.

Solution:

SayMe Marketing built the Meta account end to end before any spend: Business Manager and ad account, verified tracking pixels, product catalogues on Meta and Google Merchant Center, plus consulting on Google Maps and the Business Profile so paid traffic had somewhere trustworthy to land. The campaign then ran as a 16-day structured sprint followed by a locked phase. One ad across ten ad sets, broken into four-day blocks: Creative variations to find what stopped the right people mid-scroll. CTA tests on the same visual. Copy variations (bridal-specific versus broader beauty). Form variations to filter time-wasters without killing volume. Once the winner was clear, the form was tightened so leads had to include a wedding date and venue. Volume dipped as expected. Quality climbed.

Facebook and Instagram carried essentially all meaningful results.:

Conclusion:

A micro budget does not require a micro result if the foundations are built first and the testing is structured. The campaign turned a clean slate into a working lead engine that produced conversations worth having. High-quality bridal leads are possible without lighting money on fire. If your studio or service business is sitting on low-intent enquiries and inefficient spend, a focused system can change the inbox. Ready to build yours?
